Hi,
Thanks for writing in, and sorry for the confusion. Context Settings is
not broken, but our error message did a poor job of explaining itself.
That feature runs on a trial or a licence. Without one it fails quietly
instead of telling you what it needs. That is on us, and I will get the
message fixed.
While I was looking into it, I noticed something good about
filammagazine.com. You already rank for the places you write about: Kape
Tayo, Gabriela Filipina Kantina, Sisa Bistro. Google has connected you to
those businesses by name. You are sitting a little deeper in the results
than most people scroll, and that is a far easier problem than starting
from nothing.
I would be glad to switch a trial on for you so you can see what Context
Settings actually does. It takes me a minute.
Before I do, can I ask what held you back from starting one? There is no
wrong answer, and it genuinely helps me.

| "You installed the plugin and stopped before the trial. What made you stop there?" | "Before I do, can I ask what held you back from starting one?" |
| "You rank for five keywords, the best is position 21 ... you are on page three." | "You already rank for the places you write about ... sitting a little deeper than most people scroll." |
| "You did nothing wrong." | Cut. It implies they might have thought they did. |
| Question came last, alone. | Offer comes first, question follows as a small favour. |
Same DataForSEO ranked_keywords call, cost $0.0126, US:
| Pos | Volume | Keyword |
|---|---|---|
| 21 | 320 | kape tayo |
| 36 | 40 | kape tayo coffee |
| 45 | 30 | sisa bistro |
| 53 | 590 | gabriela filipina kantina |
| 84 | 40 | fil-am photos |
The email drops the numbers on purpose. "Position 21, 36, 45, 53, 84" is a scoreboard of losses to someone who has never bought from us. The true and useful part is that Google associates their domain with those specific businesses at all. That is real, and it is theirs.
Their site returns HTTP 403 to me on the homepage and on wp-json. I read no
article. So the email claims nothing about their writing or their publishing. Every statement comes
from SERP data, which does not need their server to answer me.
